Bruce Downey

Bruce Downey began his legal career after earning his law degree cum laude from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2006. He went on to clerk for the Honorable Joel F. Dubina on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit—an experience that laid a strong foundation for his career in litigation. Before founding his own practice in Anniston, Alabama, Bruce gained valuable insight working within major corporate defense firms.

Today, he is dedicated to representing individuals facing serious legal challenges. With extensive experience in complex, high-stakes litigation, Bruce is no stranger to standing up against powerful opponents—and winning. He approaches every case with determination, knowing that for many of his clients, there’s only one opportunity to get justice. His clients place their trust in him during some of the most critical times in their lives, and he treats that responsibility with the utmost respect. Bruce’s commitment is simple: fight relentlessly, and pursue the outcome his clients rightfully deserve.
