Jake Norwood

Jake Norwood was born and raised in the Shoals area of North Alabama. After graduating with honors from Auburn University in 2019, he earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, where he developed a passion for trial advocacy. During his time at Cumberland, Jake was an active member of the National Trial Team, winning several regional championships and personal awards, and was named Best Senior Advocate in his final year.

Before joining the firm, Jake began his career as a defense attorney, where he represented clients in matters involving premises liability, auto and transportation, and products liability. This background gives him a valuable perspective in his current plaintiff-focused practice, where he advocates for individuals injured through no fault of their own.

In addition to his practice, Jake serves as a Trial Advocacy Coach at Cumberland School of Law, mentoring the next generation of trial lawyers.

Outside the courtroom, Jake enjoys woodworking, hiking and camping, and collecting records. He and his wife are members of Faith Presbyterian Church.
