– A $12,000,000.00 verdict in a case involving a catastrophic brain injury in Blount County, Alabama
A 1999 graduate of the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Mr. Moak remained at his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2002. While in law school, he served as junior editor of the Law and Psychology Review and earned recognition for his excellent academic achievements.
During this time, Mr. Moak was also an active participant in the school’s National Trial Team coached by the late Robert F. Prince, who provided focused training, mentorship and guidance that has served him throughout his entire subsequent courtroom career. Mr. Moak’s trial team won semifinalist in the 2001 Association of Trial Lawyers of America Mock Trial Competition, and Mr. Moak received the George Peach Taylor Award for Outstanding National Trial Team Performance in both 2001 and 2002.
Mr. Moak an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the National Trial Lawyers, the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice, among his other professional affiliations. He is admitted to practice in state court and and the U.S. District Courts in Alabama.
