About Andrew Moak
With nearly twenty-two years of experience, Andrew Moak represents Alabama residents in civil courts across the state and region, offering compassionate and dedicated representation to his clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Whether a case involves a tractor-trailer or automobile accident, defective product liability or medical and pharmaceutical negligence, Andrew is a capable litigator who has tried in excess of fifty cases across the state. Additionally, Andrew handles cases involving insurance or consumer fraud and insurance bad faith.
After Andrew received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, he went on to complete law school there, receiving his law degree in 2002. As a high-achieving student, he received numerous honors and accolades. He was chosen as a Junior Editor of the Law & Psychology Review and was an advocate on the University of Alabama School of Law National Trial Team while in law school, achieving the level of national semifinalist in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America Mock Trial Competition in 2001. For his work with the trial team, Andrew received the George Peach Taylor Award for Outstanding National Trial Team Performance in both 2001 and 2002.
Andrew has been an annual selectee to SuperLawyers since 2010. SuperLawyers is an independent rating services of outstanding lawyers that applies a stringent review process and recognizes no more than 5% of a state’s attorneys, and no more than 2.5% of attorneys under the age of forty.
Andrew is an active member of the Alabama Association for Justice, and a member of the Board of Directors for that organization.
In addition to being admitted to the Alabama State Bar, Andrew is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and the Birmingham Bar Association.
