Raised in Saudi Arabia, Emily learned early how clear communication can close distance, create connection, and move people – an insight that consistently guides the work she does today as a trial lawyer. Notably, following a two-day trial in Harris County of a commercial motor vehicle case involving a broken sternum injury, a jury awarded her clients $2.31 million – a verdict that was recognized in the July 2022 edition of Texas Lawyer as one of the “Top Verdicts & Settlements of the Southwest” and by TopVerdict.com as one of the “Top 10 Personal Injury Verdicts in Texas in 2021.”

In February 2022, Emily successfully pioneered a novel theory of liability that would enable individuals to hold Amazon accountable for unsafe products sold on its website, receiving distinct praise from the federal judge presiding and making legal news nationally. And in April 2024, following a bench trial in Harris County, she secured a $1.1 million judgment for a nurse who sustained a rotator cuff tear and a 1.2 mm cervical disc herniation after being instructed by her supervisor to perform an unsafe lift at work.

Emily’s ability to maximize case value extends well beyond the courtroom. She is adept at motion practice and persuasive writing and strategically uses focus groups to test case themes, refine arguments, and ensure each case is tailored and trial-ready. By preparing cases for trial from the outset, she creates the leverage necessary to pursue exceptional outcomes without compromising value. In June 2024, she secured a $2.5 million settlement in a premises-liability case against a luxury apartment complex in downtown Houston involving a traumatic brain injury and disc herniations. In January 2026, she secured a $3.5 million settlement in a premises-liability case against a Houston apartment complex for a client who sustained a fractured ankle. Along with many other successful outcomes, the gross recovery for the cases Emily has worked on totals well above $100 million.

The never-ending mission of Emily’s personal injury practice is to hold companies accountable for their negligence, misconduct, and recklessness. She has vigorously represented countless clients in cases involving 18-wheelers, workplace injuries, defective products, car collisions, wrongful death, maritime incidents, and premises liability. She strives every day to provide her clients not only with excellent legal services, but also with the consistent communication, personal attention, and respect that they deserve.

Outside of the office, Emily is an avid traveler, an involved member of the Junior League of Houston, and a lover of all things food. She’s also a skilled charcoal sketcher and a linguaphile, having studied French for seven years, Latin for six years, Arabic for two years, and Greek and Spanish for one year.
