Depo-Provera (medroxyprogesterone acetate), manufactured by Pfizer, has been linked to intracranial meningioma, a type of brain tumor. Despite evidence of this risk dating back decades, including studies published as early as 1983, Pfizer did not add a meningioma warning to U.S. labels until December 2025, more than 30 years after the drug's FDA approval. Women who used Depo-Provera and were diagnosed with a meningioma may have a significant legal claim.
